Days after announcing that the foundation stone of a mosque named ‘Babri’ would be laid in Beldanga town in Murshidabad, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Humayun Kabir threatened bloodshed if anyone tried to thwart his nefarious plans.

Kabir also gloated over the fact that the Muslim population is increasing drastically in the State and would become 40% by the time the construction of the mosque is complete.

“We (Muslims) constitute 37% population of Bengal. When the construction of this (Babri Masjid) is completed, our population will become 40%. We are going to build this mosque. Let us see which force dares to stop us,” he threatened.

“If our 100 people die during this campaign, we will ensure that 500 from the other side are killed. This is our challenge,” the TMC MLA continued.

“This is not Ayodhya but Murshidabad. If someone dares to touch this mosque, we will show what we can do,” he further warned,

The TMC MLA then issued threats of beheading if any physical harm is inflicted upon him.
